"This is Alex, a crazy guy with an injured toe who was going to run two Marathons in one week in your pair of socks bought only hours before the first of two Marathons. And guess what? The toe still hurt but definitely within reasonable limits, the socks did an excellent job, they finished the first Marathon - in Toronto - with a very respectable for their new owner time of 4:07. Next Sunday in Victoria the socks went through a tough test of doing the same distance of 42.195 but this time on a very hilly course in a very cold and very heavy rain and passed the test with flying colors in 4:05.
